If you have old photographs, documents or memories relating to Thorpe Mandeville,
I would be delighted to hear from you.
Apart from the current
registers, all the parish registers can be examined at Northamptonshire Record
Office, Wootton Hall Park, Northampton, NN4 9BQ. However, I hold extensive
transcriptions of the registers and other public records. If you have enquiries
regarding former parishioners, I will be pleased to see if I can help:

Information on this website
includes extracts from my book on the social history of Thorpe Mandeville,
published in 1996, which recognises the assistance of many parishioners and
historians it has not been possible to acknowledge here.
The book gives a comprehensive account of the parish from the Domesday Book
to the late 20th century (119 pages including 10 pages of black and white
photographs and maps). Copies of the book can be obtained from me at:
Dormer House, Banbury Lane, Thorpe Mandeville, Banbury OX17 2HR
(Cost: £10 plus £3 packing and postage within the UK – cheques
payable to Maurice Cole.)
